The Massi Vortex Race 29×2.40 model is a high-performance Tubeless Ready tire, ideal for demanding terrains. Its TT (Triple Tread) Compound offers an excellent balance: the central band uses intermediate hardnesses for efficient traction, low rolling resistance, and high resistance to wear and punctures, while the side knobs are made of a softer compound for superior grip in very demanding corners. This tire features ‘X2 Protection’ technology, a sidewall reinforcement on the casing that provides greater protection against cuts and abrasions on aggressive terrains. This reinforcement also improves cornering stability and allows the use of lower pressures to maximize traction and control in technical conditions. Finally, the Kevlar Yarn bead makes it lighter and more flexible than conventional beads, saving up to 40 grams per tire and facilitating installation.
